(MERIDIAN) - Mississippi State University-Meridian student Cody Warren of Little Rock, MS was the recipient of the TC Carter Memorial Scholarship given by the TC Carter American Legion Post. 

Staff Sgt. Warren is a crew chief on the KC-135 aircraft assigned to the 186th Air Refueling Wing in Meridian and will graduate from MSU-Meridian in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree.

The TC Carter Memorial Scholarship is named for Lt. Carter who lost his life in service to our country during World War I.
