There are hundreds of things that make us proud of Mississippi State-Meridian, but here are a few we thought would interest you:

-Mississippi State University-Meridian is an upper-division, regional degree-granting campus of Mississippi State University, 
 which offers junior, senior, and graduate study leading to selected bachelor, master, and graduate degrees.

-Mississippi State-Meridian is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the American Assembly of 
 Collegiate Schools of Business, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and the Council of Social Work
 Education.

-MSU-Meridian is a small, convenient, adult-oriented campus with a large university academic reputation. Whether scoring in
  the top two percent nationally on a graduate entrance exam, making the highest grade in the state on the CPA exam, or making
  a difference in the lives of students and clients they serve, MSU-Meridian alumni are succeeding locally and globally.

-Over 12,000 degree and non-degree seeking individuals have been served through MSU-Meridian, with over 4,000 degrees
  having been awarded.

-Mississippi State University-Meridian is a non-residential campus with about half of its students residing in Lauderdale County
  and the remainder commuting from over 35 Mississippi counties and neighboring Alabama.

-Over 140 courses are available each semester through day, night, weekend, online and distance learning at times convenient
  for busy adult learners with job, family, and community responsibilities.

-A diverse blend of young, traditional junior/community college transfer students and more mature working adult learners flavor 
  the educational experience at MSU-Meridian.

-The student population includes 77 per cent females, 33 per cent minority, 51 percent who attend full-time, and 84 percent who 
  attend evening classes.

- With a student-to-faculty ratio of approximately 12 to 1, students at MSU-Meridian enjoy the personal attention and assistance 
  afforded by small classes.

- Academic advisors are available to help students plan a full or part-time educationprogram to accommodate individual
   professional and personal goals.

-MSU-Meridian faculty and staff serve as University Experts and provide information and consulting to media, corporate
  sector, educational, social services and other agencies in the region.

-MSU-Meridian faculty members are highly qualified, well-respected and distinguished in their fields of expertise, with most
  having amassed years of real-world experience prior to joining the faculty of MSU-Meridian.

-With faculty, staff, and students contributing as homeowners, taxpayers, productive employees, and participants in community
  life in east-central Mississippi, Mississippi State University-Meridian is recognized as an important force in the region’s 
  educational and economic development.
