Course Curriculum

The Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration is a four-year program for students who desire a career in the business side of the healthcare field.  This program provides students with a background of knowledge and skills needed to ensure success in the ever-advancing field of healthcare administration.  Students in this program will learn the basic skills for general business administration with emphasis placed on skills specific to the healthcare field. 

Related Careers:

Students in this field can obtain careers as healthcare managers or administrators either as specialists or generalists. 

Minimum Admissions Requirements (in addition to general admission requirements):

In general, applicants to Mississippi State University-Meridian Campus must have completed at least 60 credit hours of college work at a regionally accredited institution of higher learning, to include the following:

To be eligible for admission, transfer students should have earned a 2.0 overall GPA (as computed by Mississippi State University) on all courses attempted at all regionally accredited institutions of higher learning attended. Official transcripts from all institutions attended must be submitted.

Students admitting in Fall 2009 will also need to have a 'C' or better in the following courses:
